About
ACTIII PRODUCTION is a Saudi production company based in Riyadh, with documentary filmmaking at the centre of its work. We also produce commercial films and creative and media projects, collaborating with filmmakers, production companies and institutions across Saudi Arabia.
We have deep ties to southern Saudi Arabia and extensive on-the-ground knowledge of the region, particularly Jazan.

Why ACTIII?
Our journey with stories began on the theatre stage.
We came to cinema with backgrounds in theatre, where we learned that every story has its own structure and rhythm. What unfolds on stage is a world taking shape before an audience, scene by scene.
When we moved into filmmaking, we found that theatre and cinema share many roots. The dramatic structures we had encountered on stage extended into screenwriting, where a story can develop through three acts: the setup, the confrontation and Act III, when events reach their climax, threads converge and the characters' fates become clear.
This is where our name began: اللوحة الثالثة | ACTIII.
We chose it because it connects the world we came from with the one in which we have chosen to continue our journey: theatre and cinema, word and image, the idea and the moment when a story comes together.
For us, the third act is more than the end of a story. It is the moment when everything that came before finds its meaning.
That is where we begin.
Our philosophy
Our story began with a friendship between people who shared a love of art and storytelling. We came from different experiences and from the theatre stage, where our relationship with image, word and performance began. Each of us brought a distinct way of seeing the world. Over time, we understood that those differences were among the most important things that brought us together.
We like to imagine ourselves as a tree rooted deeply in a shared memory. Each of us has a branch of our own, a different rhythm and a different way of reaching towards the light. Each branch supports another, and every experience lends the others something of its strength. We are a family tree dreaming of becoming a forest.
We believe art is a way of understanding people and the world around us. The most beautiful stories may be waiting in places the camera has not yet reached, or in faces that have long remained beyond the spotlight. We seek stories worth telling and approach them with curiosity and respect, allowing them to develop without imposing a predetermined image of what they should be.
We believe beauty carries responsibility. A beautiful image must also be truthful, and a different approach should carry a purpose. We look for work with its own vision, made with perseverance, commitment and respect for everyone who helps create it, from the first idea to the last day on location.
We want ACTIII to make room for different talents and ideas, in an environment built on trust, transparency, fairness and cooperation. Art is never made by one person alone. A team flourishes when each member has room to contribute and feels that the success of others is part of their own.
We believe the purpose of a staircase is to keep climbing. Every experience and every work is another step in a long journey of learning, experimentation and discovery. We want to find new forms of storytelling and make work that adds something to an audience's imagination and memory.
Our ambition is to become a sky with room for other people's dreams.
Our team’s collective experience
Together, our team members have worked in more than 55 Saudi cities, making and contributing to the production of more than 40 documentary films. These experiences have given us a deep understanding of Saudi Arabia’s regions, a wide network of local talent, coordinators and sources for stories, and professional relationships with filmmakers, directors of photography and technical crews in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
